Maui, Kapalua Resort and Hawaii Travel News
The Hawaii "Pre-Testing Travel Program" has begun, which allows visitors to travel to Hawaii without being subject to a 10-day quarantine. Travelers entering the state from the U.S. and its Territories who have been fully vaccinated in the United States (including its Territories) may bypass quarantine without a pre-travel test. The vaccination record document must be uploaded to Safe Travels or printed out prior to departure and hard copy in hand when arriving in Hawai‘i. The State of Hawai‘i will also accept vaccine records that are digitally validated by Digital Health Pass Partners. Travelers who were fully vaccinated in Hawai‘i are already eligible for this exception. Visitors also have the option to take a valid COVID-19 test 72 hours prior to arrival, and follow all other state guidelines.FOR MORE INFORMATION ON THE PRE-TRAVEL TESTING PROGRAM, VISIT THE WEBSITE BELOW:

Here at Ridge Realty Rentals we are closely monitoring the developing Coronavirus (COVID-19.) The health and well-being of our guests, owners and employees continues to be our top priority.
Our Commitment to Cleanliness
We have taken extensive measures to ensure the safest environment possible for our guests and employees. This includes increasing our already-stringent policies regarding overall cleanliness and closely following the CDC’s guidelines for cleaning and disinfection.
Our housecleaning team uses the following procedures for each property:
Prepare
Our team will wait 24 hours to go into a property after a guest checks out.
When entering a property our team has the right supplies on hand. This includes:
• Masks
• Disposable gloves
• Multi-surface disinfectant
Clean
Before sanitizing our properties, our team begins the cleaning phase. This stage includes:
• Dusting, sweeping or vacuuming all floors
• Cleaning or moping hard surfaces with water and soap
• Washing all dishes and laundry
• Emptying all garbage cans and lining them with fresh bags
Sanitize
During the sanitizing process our team uses CDC approved cleaning supplies to reduce the number of bacteria. During this step, we sanitize all high-touch surfaces, such as doorknobs, light switches, controllers and cabinets. Sanitizing includes:
• Spraying high-touch surfaces in each room with a disinfectant spray
• Letting the disinfectant stand for the length of time specified on the product label
• Allowing the surface to air-dry
Check
After cleaning and sanitizing, our team conducts a room-to-room check, ensuring all areas of the property have been cleaned and sanitized properly.
Reset
To help prevent cross-contamination, our team “resets” each room for future guests. This process includes:
• Washing their hands and putting on clean gloves before refilling any guest supplies, towels, or linens
• Once a room is sanitized and reset, the door is closed and the doorknob is disinfected. Once complete, the room is not re-entered by our team.
• Safely disposing of or washing cleaning supplies and protective gear
• Emptying and sanitizing the vacuum cleaner after every cleaning
