We encourage our guests to take a beach break every so often, and for a delightful diversion, seek out the bounty of the farmland on Maui. Visiting a Maui farm, or a farmers market affords an opportunity to connect with the island on a more substantial level. Discover firsthand how pineapples are grown; walk the fragrant lavender fields in the gorgeous upcountry, or spend the morning selecting fresh produce from our local farmers market.
Napili Farmers Market
Napili Farmers Market is located across the street from Napili Market Place, and is the place to go for fresh local produce, baked goods, handmade jewelry and crafts, as well as a massages and live Hawaiian music! This small farmers market is incredibly quaint, and you can truly feel the Aloha spirit when visiting. Live Hawaiian music adds to the ambiance, and the local clientele, plus the Maui farmers, link you to the real heart of this island. Grab yourself a cold pressed pineapple juice and take home some of the freshest produce you will find on Maui. The Napili Farmers Market is only a few minutes away from the Ridge Villas, making this an easy trip. Parking is free. Open Wednesday from 8 am to 12 pm. |

Maui Gold Bee Tour
This operation is located at the Maui Gold Pineapple Plantation, in Makawao. There are four tours every weekday, prices starting at $65. The tour van picks you up in front of the Hali’imale Distillery, and from there, it’s up to the hives. When you arrive, the view is pretty spectacular. You’ll be instructed about the bees, their incredible life cycle, how the hives are made and operate, with the workers, queen and drone bees – sort of a crash course. Then you’ll suit up with fully protective suits and gloves and you’ll head down to the hives. And of course, you’ll get to taste the honey. |

Surfing Goat Dairies
Maui Ag-Tourism has become a major attraction for those visiting our island. One of the very first to venture into this new market, was Surfing Goat Dairies. Surfing Goat Dairies is one of two goat dairies in Hawaii. Their high quality products are featured in some of the top restaurants in Hawaii; these can also be purchased at the farm itself, or, in markets around the island. They offer three different tours, each one casual, entertaining and fun for the whole family! Their "Grand Tour" allows you to feed and milk the goats, see the cheese making process and then sample their most popular and unique products. |

Farmer`s Market Maui
Local, organic, fresh- that is what you get when you visit Farmers Market Maui. Ali`i Lavender Farm
Ali`i Lavender Farm is a "must do" when vacationing on Maui. We encourage all our guests to make the drive up to Kula and spend some quality time relaxing on the heavenly slopes of the lavender fields on Haleakala`s hillside. The farm was conceived and created by Ali`i Chang, one of Maui`s most beloved residents. His love and passion for his farm are evident throughout. Though he passed in 2011, his legacy lives on in the lavender fields he so tenderly cared for. Ali`i Lavender Farm features some of the most breathtaking views of Maui, and offers visitors a chance to explore the farm and taste their incredible lavender creations. Relax on their deck and enjoy a hot cup of lavender coffee, along with a lavender scone and lavender honey. There is nothing better! Tours are available, or you are free to explore the farm on your own. Maui Wine, Ulupalakua Vineyards
Maui Wine is located on the beautiful slopes of upcountry Kula, and features over twenty-three acres of grapes grown for their award winning wines. The tasting room is located in a historic building that is over 150 years old. Once the mountain retreat for the last reigning royal couple of Hawaii - King Kalakua and Queen Kapiolani - this quaint cottage is now the heart of the Maui Vineyard. Complimentary wine tastings are available everyday from 10am to 5:30pm, and tours everyday at 10:30 and 1:30. Do not leave the vineyard without a couple bottles of their Maui Blanc and Hula O Maui sparkling wine, both made with sweet Maui Gold pineapples. |

Come by the MauiGrown company store, and sample some of their fabulous Maui grown coffees. MauiGrown operates the largest coffee farm on Maui. O`o Farm
Visiting O`o Farm is a truly heavenly experience. Located in picturesque Upcountry Maui, O`o Farm provides produce for upscale eateries like Pacific`O, The Feast at Lele and Aina Gourmet Market. Ocean Vodka

Kumu Farms
Kumu Farms is located on the grounds of the Maui Tropical Plantation and grows over 35 varieties of fresh, organic produce. They supply many of the restaurants here on Maui, and also sell their products at their store to the entrance of the Maui Tropical Plantation. Stop by to take home some of the freshest produce and products on Maui, and don’t leave without trying famous non-GMO SunRise papayas! They also ship some of their produce to the mainland- including their papayas! |
Kula Country Farms
Many people do not associate pumpkin patches and "U-Pick Strawberries" as
a Maui experience. At Kula Country Farms, they grow a large variety of
fruits, vegetables and flowers, including pumpkins for a pumpkin patch
every fall, and "U-Pick" strawberries.
Kula Country Farms welcomes visitors to visit their 4th generation farm on the beautiful slopes of Kula. With bi-coastal ocean views and some of the most gorgeous weather on Maui, visiting Kula Farms is a lovely experience for the whole family!
